It is the mission of the °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±¼Ç¼ City School District to foster academic excellence and civic responsibility. The District Libraries support that mission by educating students to develop the skills needed for lifelong learning, ensuring that students and staff are effective users of information, promoting the enjoyment of literature, both for information and for pleasure, and maintaining an inclusive collection that includes authors and illustrators of all cultures which reflects the diverse school, local, and global communities of which our students are citizens.
