The mission of the Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is to aid in assuring inclusive and equitable policies, practices, and procedures.  Our goal is to impact all facets of the district including curricula, hiring, professional development, and most importantly, the education and well-being of all students.

    The primary goals of the DEI Department are:

    • to support the evolving needs of our diverse community.
    • to develop and implement a plan for Faculty and Staff to proportionately reflect the diversity of our student body.
    • to provide teacher support in the implementation of culturally responsive and sustaining education and to evaluate district policies, practices, and procedures through the lens of equity and inclusion.
